Attributes turn to numbers(?)

Hi,

wonder if someone can give a bit of assistance, one of the sites i manage has just upgraded to woocommerce 3.0 but all the attributes have turned to numbers rather than the text they were..

Downgrading fixes the issue, and also checking the db confirms the content is all still there, its just displaying an id number or something from the look.
