CSS returned as text/plain

Hello,

First, I’ve unchecked the Custom CSS checkbox so that the tables appear nicely. However,
when the Front End Options Custom CSS checkbox is checked, we receive the warning:

Resource interpreted as Stylesheet but transferred with MIME type text/plain: “https://research.utexas.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/tablepress-combined.min.css“.

and the table is visually off (i.e., styles are not set properly). When the custom checkbox is off; the table displays fine.

We are TablePress version 1.9.2; this happened after we updated to WP 5.1.1, using Classic Editor. I should note that our QUAL site is on the same version and displays fine even when the Custom CSS checkbox is checked.

Any ideas what could be causing this and how can we fix it?
