Accessing Blogs and its contents using REST API in WP Version 4.5.1

Hi Team,

I have the site http://blogs.astcorporation.com/ deployed in WP version 4.5.1.
I have the requirement to access the contents of its blogs using REST API. but as per the documentation, the content endpoints exposure wp-json/wp/v2/posts is only available from 4.7.
Can you please help me with the steps/REST API’s to fetch contents of the blog from http://blogs.astcorporation.com/ deployed on WP 4.5.1
