RSVP Count of 0 False Confirmation

Hello,

I have noticed that a user may click “confirm RSVP,” without supplying any information, and Event Tickets produces a false confirmation message than an email was sent. Can this behavior be changed to require the fields be populated, or can the default RSVP count be changed to 1?

I tried using the code from this recent post https://wordpress.org/support/topic/default-rsvp-count/) but it sets the count to 1 and does not allow it to be changed.

I am using WordPress 4.9.7 with Event Tickets 4.7.4.1 and Events Calendar 4.7.4.1.
