Auto increment / next number to use not working

Hi,

I am trying out the free version of the plugin. On the quote tab I entered a next number to use (20181834) and I thought the plugin would now generate numbers starting with that number and increase them with 1 each time (auto increment is set to on).

This doesn’t work. I keep getting quote numbers like 1, 2, 3 etc. I removed all quotes, but it continues with 4, 5, 6 etc.

I want to be able to use my own format of numbers. What am I doing wrong? Using PHP 7.2, latest WP and latest plugin.
