So I recently learned that I can run WordPress on my computer. Yeah, I don’t know how I didn’t know this many years ago. I’ve been pretty excited about this, though, but I have been going through serious issues trying to set this up. Localhost, just learned out that, too, set up sucks for my Windows desktop. My system is throwing so many d**n errors. I don’t get it. So I can’t even get to the WordPress setup part, which I hope won’t cause me any pain on this stupid Windows machine.
If anyone has a working localhost and WordPress combo setup going on a Windows XP 32-bit system (I think I have AMD, yeah, it’s not Intel), please do tell all the steps you’ve done to get it working so I can mirror your steps. Thank you.
Until then, I saw an ad in Facebook about a dongle for web developers. After clicking on it learned it was actually the very thing I needed. I could relate on so many levels reading about it. Dang why can’t these things already be on the market?? It needs backers/donators to bring it TO the market and it only has one other backer right now and the clock is six days left, I think. So I’m trying to spread the word, because I would really love to get one of these dongles especially since it includes WordPress, which is seriously my life and my life will only get better being able to use it natively. It’s like a whole new world of WordPress — o_O — all the things I could do and accomplish. Maaan, I really need this dongle or someone to answer my question up there or both. If anyone knows anything else like this that is available on the market already that I can use, by all means, tell me. I need options on getting my localhost/Wordpress setup.
