For the past several days, I have been unable to upload new media to our site. I have tried all different types of files, jpg, pdf, png, none of them work.
I browse my computer, just as I normally would, select the file & choose. The file looks like it is uploading (the fill line to the right fills up to 100%), but then I get an error message: has failed to upload.
Could not insert post into the database.
I am a website novice. I know how to do the little bit we need done, but not much more! I do not have WordPress on my computer, but do everything by logging into to our website over the web and I am working on a Mac using Safari, but have also tried Chrome (same problem).
I also tried to add a new page to our site late this week and was unable. Instead of giving me the option to publish the new page, I only have the option to Submit it for Review, and then when I do, I am given the error message: Sorry, you are not allowed to edit this post.
Nothing has changed, so I am not sure what has happened or what I’ve done. Thank you for any help!
