Hi, first time here but I’ve been using WordPress for a long time on my own business websites.
My girlfriend hired an advertising company to create their website back in 2013 and they made it with a self hosted WordPress site, she never got an admin user or password and she doesn’t have access to the hosting servers as well. The information on the website is really out of date and we also want to change the theme and make it more modern. We tried contacting the advertising company but they have been unable or unwilling to help, not giving us the user and password to make the changes. We tried using the emergency.php script but when typing the url to upload it just shows us the following message:
“No Results Found
The page you requested could not be found. Try refining your search, or use the navigation above to locate the post.”
Is there any way to reset passwords so we can get control back? she has a domain email for nobsnaturals, is there anyway it could be emailed to her?
Clarification: She is the legal owner of the business and has the trademark to her name, I dont know if that helps but Im putting it out there.
