Support for Multiple Categories or Taxonomies

Hello again,

Is there a way to support multiple categories or taxonomies? Afaik, we can select only one category while creating a product.

My use case is such that a product can be in multiple categories. E.g.,

Product Type: Curtain, Cushion, Table Runner
Product Fabric: Cotton, Linen, Silk

A product, say “Sample Product” can be a silk curtain or a cotton cushion or whatever.

So is it possible to associate a product to multiple categories or taxonomies?

(i know i can add a select field to add those additional categories as a custom field but that’s not a very good way imo).
