Disabled Wordfence but still noticed when using BackWPup plugin and attempting to delete an old backup file from /wp-content/custom directory the following

Upon reinstalling and walking through the many admin areas (though it was very forceful about insisting I finish the setup which forcefully and rudely asked for an email address) I discovered there is a “delete all data and tables” option but nope, zilche, nada, the rules are still left behind.
Now I’m off to go manually scrub my site clean…
