I’m a first time blogger, and after a couple of months of messing around with various lightbox options I’m now very happy to have settled on Foobox. It’s clearly superior to other free options on mobile, with excellent full screen display, button placement, and great titles/descriptions. Now I can get cracking on producing some content, and I’ll check out the pro version when I’ve made more progress.
One little glitch I’ve noticed that I’d like help with is that a few of my images are displaying a description which is being taken from the ‘alt text’ field, despite having maintained the default settings which use the caption for the title, and the description field for the description (which so far I’ve not used for any of my images). Most images do not behave in this way (they use only the caption and the description remains blank). I can delete the alt text for the image and that fixes it, but of course I lose the functionality of that field. On the page I’ve provided a link to, you can see this happening with two of the images, where you will see the same text repeated for the title and description (- I use the same text for the caption and alt text).
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Edward
