A problem I’ve been having with my WordPress install is that sometimes, when using the thumbnail version of a transparent gif in a page, it creates a nasty latticeowrk non-transparent background.
You can see the problem on this page:

if you look for entry “Ossessia”. (Click on the link and you can see the full-sized image doesn’t have this problem.)
It seems to happen inconsistently between images and their different-sized thumbnails. e.g., if you go to this page:
http://kbrechtel.com/nidus/nidus-staff/
and scroll down near the bottom, there are two 100×100 thumbnails whose larger thumbs didn’t have this lattice effect.
Has anyone else run into this? If so, how have you fixed it?
