I’d like to have your help. The performance on our website is quite low. Sometimes loading issues from 5-20 seconds. the following comments are from my developer – unfortunately I can’t add printscreens here though.

So although Google is showing that the site is bad, we have previously shown that it is not scoring low on other tools. The score on Pingdom and the score on GTMetrix was relatively high in Feb (ish).
Above is load time through tools.pingdom.com showing under 2 seconds.
Above is grade through GTMetrix. Shows that it’s degraded in the last few months (without us making any changes to cache).
STEP 1: I’ve disabled all caching on the host end, and on the wordpress end. There’s now nothing that’s speeding anything up.
These are the results:
We can therefore establish the baseline of the sites to be: Google = 29.4 seconds, GTMetrix = 13.5 seconds, Pingdom = 8.01 seconds.
STEP 2: I’ve re-implemented caching using a different combination of caching tools the results of which are:
The above show that with caching, we’re saving 23% load time on Google PageSpeed, 73% load time on GTMetrix, and 84% load time reduction on Pingdom.
Google’s rating is worse though, which is impossible to understand.
On the other hand, there’s still the issue of large images being uploaded in the last couple of months. Highly important for you to upload images that are appropriately sized for a website. Anything above 300kb is probably too high.
There’s also an issue where the cache is incredibly variable though the various tools. This occurs when something is incompatible with the environment.
The host could assist, but they are not interested in helping – they have the key knowledge about how we can implement caching best on their servers. And we can both see that the server sends weird messages (the 503 message and the Varnish cache messages).
Cloudflare should have been implemented, but still has not. This will make the best improvements to speed.
Here’s two articles on Page Speed:

Can someone help me? My developer can’t work for me anymore and I am not a dev. I need help until I find a new dev.
Thank you a lot in advance.
