Role can’t add menu items to their menu

I have successfully granted access to a specific menu to a role.

That role also has access to certain custom post type.

For some reason, they cannot add links from that custom post type to their menu. The option doesn’t show up on the left-hand side when editing their menu.

Also how do I delete a role?
