Ownership Issue (Please update your How To)

Hi,
when i’m following your Tutorial on how to add the Google Indexing API’s Ownership, the Plugin shows a Error 403 Could not verify Ownership.

The Fix is to go to the OLD Webmaster Central Page (https://www.google.com/webmasters/verification), click the Domain and add the User from the Search Console there as a Owner, too.

If the User isn’t added in the Webmaster Central, the Ownership will not be verified/accepted by the Indexing API.

Once that is done the Error doesn’t show up and the URL is indexed correctly. 🙂
