I had no idea that WP-optimize would make multiple unwanted file copies of each “media” file added when what I had asked for was to compress the images and files.
I now have 3x the file storage from all of these unwanted extra files.
I have 4 .jpg files associated with each additional .pdf file added, and those that were added in the past.
How can I remove all of these files that are not needed or used?
I have, of course, turned off the “auto compress” switch, and am not using minify.
Please tell me I don’t have to go thru the whole 8 years of wpcontent and flush them all out ?
