Office 365 account with basic authentication disabled

Can the plugin support Office 365 accounts where basic authentication has been disabled for our 365 account? We are now getting the following error in the logs:

5.7.139 Authentication unsuccessful, basic authentication is disabled.

I see there is/was the Office 365 API Extension that isn’t currently available that would appear to assist with this. Alas, it’s no longer available.
