Hello,
I don’t know if the question belongs here or not, but I’ll give it a try.
I have taken the given page and now discovered a problem.
Via POST AN AD -> “Post a Conference” or “post a job” etc. registered or non-registered people can publish their posts on the page. For this the page uses Contact Form 7.
The principle works like this:
People who are registered on the site and have the status “Author” can use “post a Conference” to publish their post directly. It will not be checked by an admin.
If a non-registered user writes a post via the contact form, the post is not published directly and ends up as a draft in “Pending review”. The author automatically becomes “Hyperspace_Bot”. Then an admin reviews the post and publishes it or deletes it.
However, this setting was set by someone before my time. The whole thing is also correct like that. But now I want the following:
Registered users with the role “Subscriber” should also not have the right and posts written by them should also land as a draft first under “Pending review”. Currently, the written posts of “subscribers” are still published automatically… Does anyone have an idea how to set that the posts via the contact form of “subscribers” also land as a draft in “Pending review”?
Thanks in advance for the help! I will respond to questions as soon as possible.
Best regards,
Fabian
