Add custom attribute to Schema

I have created a custom attribute where i input the GTIN code of a product.

I want to add this custom attribute to the product schema as gtin so that i dont get the warning no global identifier on rich results test on google search console.

Is this possible? I tried adding some custom code but it did not work.
