Can anyone point me in the direction of a compact theme?

I was wondering if people have seen a theme that is compact and meant for content-rich sites. Similar to this: http://medref.ca

I went through hundreds of themes, and they are all very spacious that work well for blogging sites, but don’t work well for content-rich sites like teaching medicine.
