Update Failed. No valid url.

WordPress version: 5.8.2
PHP version: PHP 7.2.24
I will be updating this to 7.4 or higher.

I tried updating the WooCommerce Multi-currency plugin & reCaptcha for Woocommerce today and got the following error:
“Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.”

Might this be relating to my PHP version? What version of PHP is recommended before updating?

We are using Really Simple SSL plugin. Not sure if this is affecting it. I’m going to update PHP to version 7.4 and see if this makes any difference

Any pointers are much appreciated.
