For the past 6 months, we’ve seen sporadic (but definitely a pattern) of ad bot traffic on our site. All of the ad’s are being clicked. A small number one day, then lots of clicks the next day, and then the IP address is never used again. We’ve been able to track all the ips and they cluster around 2-3 days and once use, that IP is never used again. The IP’s all trace back to Council Bluffs Iowa, which is a major hub, so no help there. We’d love to be able to identify and block these attacks. Hoping that Wordfence might help. Happy to purchase a license (we have 6 sites) or pro version or whatever.
