We have Events Calendar Pro and although I’m happy to see the “series” option, I can’t find a way to add specific/different details about events in the series (without breaking them out of the series into separate events – which seems to defeat the purpose of putting them in as a ‘series’).
Use case: We have an ongoing, relatively regular seminar series (days/times/location is generally the same for each event but speaker/topic is different for each). I would like to display the speaker name/seminar title for each event in the series. Is this possible?
It would seem this would be a common use case (esp in academic environments, like mine) and the functionality would be needed for classes, lecture series, etc. Naming this feature “series,” to me, implies that the details are going to vary between individual events in a series; if all of the details were the same, it would be a simple “recurring event” rather than a “series.”
