Translating form messages

Hi,
It seems that when message tokens are used (text wrapped in curly braces), the values are not being pulled from the static string definitions in Polylang ‘Strings translations’ — instead, the default values for the selected language are being displayed. Is there any way to force the translated values to be shown (instead of the defaults)? Currently using:
Wordpress: 5.8.1
Multilingual Contact Form 7 with Polylang: 1.0.1
Contact Form 7: 5.4.2
Polylang: 3.1.1

UPDATE: Solved! Turns out the issue was that we were initially using the default English string values in the string definitions in the ‘Strings translations’ section. Those values were being auto-translated — but when we changed them to our custom values, those custom values were then displayed instead.
