I have some files in my Siteground WP install listed by WPMUdev Defender and Wordfence as potentially suspicious. The folder is at:
/home/customer/www/[domain]/public_html/wp-admin/ and there are many “.listing” files
Typical contents:
-rw-r–r– 1 [6 digit no] 102 813 May 03 2018 Proxy.php
drwxr-xr-x 2 [6 digit no] 102 152 Nov 21 15:35 Response
-rw-r–r– 1 [6 digit no] 102 2505 May 03 2018 Response.php
-rw-r–r– 1 [6 digit no] 102 4022 May 03 2018 SSL.php
I’m told these files appear to have been created by WP Job Manager but I’m not convinced, as they have dates that (I think) predate the plugin installation. Can anyone tell me if that’s correct/likely? And if so, are they needed or can they be removed?
Thanks
