Hi, I enabled the iQBlock plugin at the end of June, specifically to block traffic from China. However, a lot of traffic from China is still getting through. In Google Analytics, traffic from China is only down 20% (63, down from 79) over the same period length. This doesn’t seem to be very effective, a 20% dip could be completely natural from month to month. This makes me wonder if this plugin is working effectively.
In the log, the plugin says it has blocked ~325 visits, many to non-public pages or specific files, so it is clearly blocking some traffic. However, it is not blocking the majority of visits to the actual website pages. Could you please advise? I followed the instructions to set it up, so I don’t think it is my configuration.
