Hello. I have latest versions of CF7 and CF7 Paypal & Stripe Add-on, PHP is 7.4.1, and I regularly cleared my cache as I narrowed down this issue. My website (www.setonhill.org) has two CF7 forms, one of which uses the Paypal & Stripe Add-on (https://www.setonhill.org/membership-form/).
Based on this FAQ (https://contactform7.com/faq-about-recaptcha-v3/), today I deactivated all plugins except Contact Form 7 and switched to default theme of 2021, and form submissions were still flagged as spam. This tells me that none of the other plugins (Contact Form 7 – PayPal & Stripe Add-on; Flamingo; Health Check & Troubleshooting; Meta Tag Manager; UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore; Wordfence Security) or my theme “Suri” are causing this issue.
When I remove the reCAPTCHA integration keys, both forms submit successfully BUT the form that uses the PayPal and Stripe Add-on does not properly redirect to PayPal as it should. I am curious if the same issue that marks submissions as SPAM when the reCAPTCHA integration is enabled is also the issue that keeps our form from redirecting when the reCAPTCHA keys are removed.
Also to note: When reCAPTCHA is enabled, I receive the same result for both forms, even in the browser where I am logged into WordPress. When I disable reCAPTCHA and test the forms in the browser where I am logged into WordPress, they both work as they should including that the form that is supposed to redirect to Paypal does so properly.
Possible red herring: Could this also be connected to the fact that I have not been able to successfully complete a website backup in the Updraft Plus plugin due to the “Waiting until scheduled time to retry because of errors” error I always receive? I confirmed with my host today that there are no server issues that are contributing to that particular issue.
Thank you in advance for your help.
