Hi,
I am stuck with a configuration issue. I have 2 vendors who charge for shipping and a few more that do not. I want to set up shipping with the following ruleset…
1. All orders above X amount to be free (regardless of who the vendors are)
2. For orders below X, store shipping will apply for products from the 2 vendors who charge shipping. For the rest, a flat rate of Y will be applied.
3. There are only 2 shipping zones. One (A) for all serviceable locations and another (B) for locations where the marketplace does not ship to.
This is how I have set it up…
Under shipping zone A, following methods have been added (in the same order)…
a) Free Shipping (requires a minimum order value of X)
b) Store Shipping (enabled only for the 2 vendors who charge shipping, disabled for the rest)
c) Flat Rate (Y)
What is happening is that store shipping is getting applied on orders above X that have products from the 2 vendors for whom Store Shipping is enabled and the Free shipping option is showing up only for the other products. I was under the impression that shipping rules are applied in the order they are defined. But that doesn’t seem to be the case here.
