Integration with Google Tag Manager only partially working

Hello – I’ve been testing the Complianz plugin, and although I can get it to work with Google Tag Manager for the basic analytics (i.e. it tracks those who accept the relevant cookies, and doesn’t track those who don’t), I’m struggling to get it to work with the additional tags and triggers I’m using. In particular, it seems to be blocking the ecommerce tracking.

I’m using the Google Tag Manager for WordPress plugin ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/duracelltomi-google-tag-manager/ ) to push ecommerce info to the data layer, and I’m trying to use trigger groups to ensure the additional tags are only fire when the relevant cookies are allowed.

When I run the preview in Google Tag Manager, it tells me the tags are being fired, but when I run live tests, the ecommerce sales aren’t picked up at all, and some of the other custom events like shares or form submissions aren’t picked up. (This seems stranger than if they were just failing altogether). Do you have any advice about / examples of how to set up more complicated triggers than the basic GA tracking?
