Fontawesome problem in AMP pages

I’m having a problem with using fontawesome icons, which started recently.

For some reason, the icons I use with the “before” pseudo-element stopped rendering.

I noticed that the slashes (\) I put in the custom CSS block to render the icons are not showing in the HTML. After save the custom css block, automatically it is removing the \ from my code.
