Hi,
While configuring my WP site from the default Twenty Twenty-One theme, at some point I realised that the comments section is not available on any of blog posts on my Posts Page.
I remember when I accessed the plain theme, the “Leave a comment” form was available at the bottom of each post along with comments added. From my admin panel, I can still see one sample comment added to a sample post (“Hello world!”) which came with the theme. However, it’s not visible on the published website.
I’ve been searching through the whole net to figure this out for hours, but couldn’t find a clue. Suggestions are enable comments Settings (site level) and for the associated pages and individual posts, which I have done already – screenshots attached below. And I suppose individual post settings would overwrite higher level settings (pages and site)?
What am I missing here? Enabling and disabling comments sounds fairly straight forward.. and I find myself silly spending hours and still not getting it work. Perhaps, is there a theme-related configuration that will enable/ disable comments? Or have I accidentally messed up comments related codes?? I didn’t modify any codes directly, but using plug-ins such as Twentig and Options for Twenty Twenty and Twenty Twenty-One. Twentig is still in use but I deactivated Options for Twenty Twenty and Twenty Twenty-One (which has lots of custom features) because I find configs for Options for… plug-in conflicting Twentig plug-in and WP default configs..
