I’m having an issue with updating most of the pages on my site. When I try to update them through the dashboard and press update, the popup comes up to tell me that the page has been updated – but when I go to view it, the changes don’t appear on the frontend. Moreover, the changes do not seem to be saving properly on the backend either, because if I close the page on the backend and then reopen it again, my changes are gone.
I’m not very technical and kind of at a loss here. I last updated the site about three weeks ago and it was all working fine, so it must be a new issue. I’ve tried clearing the cache on my browser (Chrome), using a different browser, logging in and out again, installing and then clearing W3 Total Cache, and nothing is helping. I also tried to see if there was any correlation between plugins on a page and whether its updates are saving, but I can’t spot any patterns. I’d be really grateful for any help.
