I have a dilemma, I’m creating a very simple site for an organizations annual elections. The site supports English, Spanish, Chinese (simplified), Korean, Russian, Armenian and Vietnamese. There is a custom post type for the candidates and the idea was to have on the candidate page a list of all candidates running for the positions, with the candidates names in alphabetical order. When you hover over a name a popup reveals a bio of each candidate.
Putting the posts in alphabetical order for English, Spanish, and Vietnamese, but for the other languages that use characters I”m at a loss on how to sort those. I am using the plugin “WPML Multilingual CMS” to sort the language translations as well. Any idea on how to sort in alphabetical order the languages that use characters different than the English alphabet?
