Hi there,
I have a site running Tortuga: akademician.com
Before we switched to Tortuga, the site icon used to show up when the site was bookmarked in iOS. And, when the site was linked on Twitter, the preview would be the site icon.
However, after we switched to Tortuga, the site icon only shows a white box on iOS bookmarks and in Twitter previews. For example, here is a tweet linking to the site, and the preview is just a white box:

When I go to the site on a web browser (for instance, the current version of Safari on Mac OS, but any browser will suffice), the site icon DOES display correctly next to the name of the site, but any preview of the homepage or bookmark of the site will only show a white box.
I have another site running Tortuga and it is experiencing the same problems. I have tried disabling all of my plugins and the problem persists. Switching to another theme solves the problem. So it appears to be a problem with the Tortuga theme.
Is there a solution to this? I would like to avoid my sites previewing as blank white squares every time the site home page is shared on Twitter.
Thank you!
