Hi there!
So my website (https://okoninstituteglobal.com) is in English. Yesterday I showed it to a friend and was utterly shocked, because I had no idea that it would be automatically “translated” by chrome/google. (duh, of course it is! just never occured to me, as I have it disabled in my browser) Now, I say “translated”, but google only strings translated words together as no machine understands meaning attached to human language phrases. It hurt my eyes. I was shocked. I put so much effort into it and felt like an idiot when I saw what that “translation” did to it 🙁
(I mean I have another site in the works which I translated into 2 languages myself… what is that automatic translate button gonna do with that??? 🙁 )
I only want to work with people who speak English and I need to tell google that my page is English only, period. As a matter of fact it is non-negotiable for me.
Please tell me that there’s a way to do that
