We purchased a company, and that company name is no longer in business as it’s components have been wrapped into the parent company. Even typing in the URL for the old company redirects to ours.
However, recently I discovered an old page from 2009 that still comes up high in searches from a WordPress site for the company no longer in business. We are unable to reach the previous owner to inquire about it, and it’s likely they don’t know the logins and details anyway.
How do we go about removing this company wordpress site? I have more than enough documentation to prove ownership, I just need direction on whom to give it to.
