I am trying to create a platform in which a team leader can upload a CSV file to automatically create and assign tasks for each employee for the day based on the data in a new CSV file every morning. Please note this is slightly different from project management as the type of tasks/services delivered by each employee every day is very similar in nature, but the service is delivered to a different customer each day and details or plans can be only determined on the day and through the CSV/Excel file.
The file will have fixed and predetermined fields/columns (e.g. task details such as employee name, customer, start and finish time, etc.). On the other side, each employee should be able to see the day’s tasks details assigned to them without editing them, but also be able to enter details and updates about the tasks they perform on the day and log the updates so that the team leader can track how the task is progressing in real time as soon as an update is provided.
I would really appreciate any feedback and comments that can help to understand through which plugins or how this could be achieved. Thanks very much in advance.
