I had paid for your premium plugin for one of my sites and then enabled bitly, I did not like the fact that bitly did not update regularly so I turned it off. But now the URL parameters are stripped off my links?
I got in touch with support – Ilija – she was great but she said it was beyond her help. I had to wait and then Karolina was to help me and she just said to me that there was nothing wrong and it was working fine? And if I needed more help to ask. What? One of the devs ( rituraj bandha)** sent me a gif to display to me that it works but you can clearly you see in his gif that the URL params are stripped off when clicking a social media button
For example. The page is https://mysite/thispage/?Color=white
When Facebook or twitter button’s clicked you get ONLY https://mysite/thispage/
what happened to ?color=white?
Then told them to tel me nothinig is wrong?
I have tried other plugins and the URL Parameters remain with the link when social buttons are clicked.
I said you did not read fully what I had said. The buttons work but the URL parameters are now stripped. I even sent a gif showing it.
Seems no one even cared?
They stopped replying.
Asked for a refund.
Nothing.
Such a great product I am surprised at the lack of support.
** What is even stranger is even after they asked me for an admin account I saw that rituraj bandha joined membership to my site and when I asked them about it , they denied it. SO so odd.
