Return after open a new windows

I would like to know how to open a new window (while staying on my site) and be able to close it by clicking on the X. The idea is to click on a photo and start a slideshow and then come back to the page of the picture.
See the condo sales site when you click on the photo a new page, opens in the same site and you can then see the slideshow and then click on the X to return.

I use Elementor to my page construction.
