I have a client who has uploaded a featured image using the standard featured image box in WordPress.
The image in use is a lower resolution image.
I have gone in and found the original – The lower resolution appears to have been modified by WordPress either manually by the client or otherwise:
- Original: IMAGE_0001.jpg
- Edited: IMAGE_0001-eXXXXXXXXX.jpg
When I try to replace -eXXXXXXXX with the original, and hit save it never changes – it just always reverts back to the edited version “-eXXXXXXXXX”
Why?
How do I force WP to use the original image???
