when i use wp’s mosaic image galleries they display poorly on ios with many images being truncated.
performanmce varies, eg this url https://the5krunner.com/2020/10/07/polar-vantage-v2-review-specifications/amp displays almost properly on a desktop screen…but try it on your smartphone and its nowhere near as good at displaying the images.
the other gallery types like thumbnail grid also don’t display propery but they’re not quite so bad.
the arrow indicating there is more than one image to scroll to see is often VERY hard to see.
