Exit Notifier vs. Internet Explorer

Cannot seem to get Exit Notifier to work in Internet Explorer 11 (I know, right?). IE11 is reporting a syntax error in the console for frontend.js.

In the past, this has typically been conflicts with another plugin, but, it’s being reported with all other plugins deactivated using the Twenty-Twenty theme. Any ideas?
