Change Category slug

I’ve renamed most of the places where I could read “Category” or “Categories”. I wanted it to be “Genre” or “Genres”.

Now the issue is that, if I go to
https://www.events.wavebix.website/events/categories/
it shows me the genres, even though it says categories
I would like it to show “genres” at the end

Also, if I go to
https://www.events.wavebix.website/events/genres/house-music/
it shows me all events under that genre, but if I remove “house-music” and just type in
https://www.events.wavebix.website/events/genres/
I get the error that the page doesn’t exist.

Any way I can change this behavior? Or any workaround to use Genres?
I was looking at the custom fields and attributes, but I can’t seem to understand how to incorporate those on the Submission Form (I can’t seem to find that page/template)
