Not working on front end(my-account)

Hi I saw a previous topic about this but it doesn’t seem to be resolved. This plugin works from the dashboard but not in situations where customers will likely change their display names from the front end (for example the my-account page with woocommerce).

It is really useful to prevent duplicate display names but some sites won’t allow dashboard access just access restricted to the my-account page. Is there a way to get this functionality on the front-end.
