The update of Meow gallery to 4.01 caused a crash in my WordPress installation. The error statement said it was caused by the Meow Lightbox plugin (and I then found this also caused a fatal crash on upgrade.) I have rolled back both of these upgrades to the earlier version. It seemed to be caused by some conflict with Polylang.
I have now encountered the annoying error with Meow Lightbox that it won’t display the media thumbnails (in this case jpegs) on the uploading screen for the gallery after a Polylang upgrade. This can only be overcome by deactivating Polylang. (Polylang may be the cause of this – but I need to have it installed for my multilingual website.) Since I only need to upload for a short time, I can get around this by deactivating Polylang while I am making a gallery.
