Hi,
The default language is English and the default currency is CAD. When there is a person in a different country (in a different currency from the default and a different language than the default), the translation has no effect on the number or the currency.
For instance, product X is $yCAD in Canada in English. Product X (same product) is $zEUR in Spain. If somebody in Spain sees the website in English they will see $zEUR, but if they see it in Spanish, they will see it in $yCAD.
