Possible to modify counter menu item?

Hi,

I use some custom css to modify my menu items. When I select the option in your plug-in to show the wishlist counter as a menu option, the link and counter show up correctly. However, I can’t seem to make any edits to the menu item (eg, custom class). Whatever changes I make seem to either not save or get overwritten.

Is this menu item auto-generated and not able to be edited?
