During these difficult times I wanted to make you all aware that the developers (Automattic) are aware of a serious issue with the deposits plugin which can lead to financial losses for any sites using their deposits plugin.
However after numerous back-and-forth discussions the company have no current plans to fix the issue nor to tell customers that the issue exists. Leaving customers such as myself at risk of losing income.
The issue is that when an cart is paid for using deposits and discount coupons the coupon amount is incorrectly assigned to the sale price leaving your customers paying less than they should. All the way up until the payment processor the numbers look correct, but the moment the amount gets sent to the payment processor the math goes wrong, leading to the under-charging situtation.

We understand and appreciate the importance of the impact that this has had on you and your business, but it looks to be a while before it will be addressed based on current priorities.
The feedback provided has been passed on to our developers, but there is no current plan to communicate this specific bug.
