Hi everyone,
I hope someone can help me, please.
I am getting a Mismatched [price] (page crawl) in Google Merchant Center for my feed and this is something to do with tax/VAT.
So for example, if one of my products is £1.99 (this is inclusive of tax).
The price for the product is displayed on the frontend as £1.99 for me in Chrome.
I have just checked the website using Edge and the price is showing as £1.99
Google says in the merchant center,
Value in feed = £1.99
Price on the website = £1.66
If you run the page through Rich Results Test tool on Google, it sees the price as £1.66
Now, this is correct, the price is £1.66 but then we have to add 20% VAT which then results in the price being £1.99.
In my settings page under the tax, I have it set to
Prices entered with tax = No I will enter exclusive of tax
Display prices in the shop = including tax
Display prices during basket and checkout = including tax
Does anyone know what is going on here?
Thank you in advance
Jimmy
