invisible widget appears after plugin update

I use the Modern Events Calendar plugin on my site and restricted the access to other user roles in my system. With White Label CMS I designed an own dashboard to make the MEC widget and access links invisible for other user roles.
But after every plugin update of MEC, the MEC widget automatically appears on all user dashboards, also on the dashboards I designed with White Label CMS.

Does anyone know a solution?

Or should I rather contact the MEC developer site?
